This article stresses that osteoarthritis is not just a disease of the cartilage. The "whole joint" is involved: bone, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, synovium and muscle as well as the immune system. It highlights so many of the concepts that I stress in the book including the biochemical pathways of inflammation that we fight with the Healthy Joint for Life program.
